Welcome to the HelpMeSee eBook help page. If you are a trainee or an individual enrolled into the HelpMeSee simulation-based training program, please refer to the links below for help.
1. Accessing the eBook Online
» WINDOWS DESKTOP OR LAPTOP
- Copy and paste the link in any web browser: https://ebook.helpmesee.org/#!/
- Enter your username and password and click Sign in.
- Click Skip or Next.
- Click the eBook thumbnail to open the eBook.
» MAC DESKTOP OR LAPTOP

- Enter your username and password and click Sign in.
- Click Skip or Next.
- Click the eBook thumbnail to open the eBook.

2. Accessing the eBook Offline
To read the eBook offline, you must download the eBook on to your device. Please make sure you have enough space available on your device to download the eBook. The size of the eBook is approximately 1GB. You need internet connection to download the eBook. After the eBook is downloaded on your device, you do NOT need internet connection to read the eBook.
» DOWNLOAD ON iOS DEVICES (iPHONE & iPAD)
1. Download the HelpMeSee eBook app from the iOS App Store.
2. Open the app, enter your username and password, and then tap Sign in.
3. Tap Got it.
4. Tap the eBook thumbnail and then tap Download.
5. Check for available space on your device and tap OK.
» DOWNLOAD ON ANDROID DEVICES (CELLPHONE & TABLET)
1. Download the HelpMeSee eBook app from the Google Play Store.
2. Open the app, enter your username and password, and then tap Sign in.
3. Tap Got it.
4. Tap the eBook thumbnail and then tap Download.
5. Check for available space on your device and tap OK.
* If you do not have access to the Android Marketplace, please download the .apk file using the link here on your cellphone or tablet.
- Once downloaded, tap on the file to install it. Most Android devices will ask for permission to install the file since it is a third-party app (not from the Google Play Store).
- Go to Settings and grant permission to install the .apk file.
- Then, follow steps 2 to 5 mentioned above to access the eBook once the app is installed.
» DOWNLOAD ON WINDOWS DEVICES (DESKTOP OR LAPTOP)
1. Download the HelpMeSee eBook .exe file from here.
2. Double-click the file to install.
Note: Depending on your system’s security settings, you may get pop-up alerts to run the file. Click More info and then click Run anyway.
3. Enter your username and password, and then click Sign in.
4. Click the Download icon.
5. After the download is complete, click the eBook thumbnail to open the eBook.

1. Download the HelpMeSee eBook .dmg file from here.
2. Double-click the file and then drag and drop the HelpMeSee installer to the Applications.
3. Open the HelpMeSee app from the Launchpad. You will get a pop-up alert. Click OK.
4. Next, go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General. Click Open Anyway.
5. You will get another pop-up alert. Click Open.
6. Enter your username and password, and then click Sign in.
7. Click the Download icon.
8. After the download is complete, click the eBook thumbnail to open the eBook.
3. Logging In
» GETTING USERNAME AND PASSWORD
Once you have been assigned an eBook, you will receive a system generated email with your username and a link to set your password. The password link is valid for 20 minutes only. If you are unable to set your password within 20 minutes of receiving the email, simply click on the same link again, and follow the onscreen instructions to set your password.
» FORGOTTEN USERNAME/PASSWORD
Your username is the email address you gave for registration. If you forget your password:
1. Check your email for a Reset Password email and follow the instructions in the email to set a new password.
2. Select the Forgot Password option on the sign-in page on a browser or in the app.
3. Enter your username and select Submit.

1. Open the app.
2. Tap the eBook thumbnail on the Bookshelf to open the eBook.
3. Tap Skip when you login for the first time.
4. To read a specific chapter, tap the Table of Contents icon at the bottom of the screen.
5. Tap the down arrow next to the title of a part and select the chapter you wish to read.

4. Click the eBook thumbnail on the bookshelf to open the eBook.

6. Click the down arrow next to the title of a part and select the chapter you wish to read.
4. Understanding the eBook Structure
To read the eBook offline, you must download the eBook on to your device. Please make sure you have enough space available on your device to download the eBook. - Part 9 deals with postoperative procedures and care.

Anyone who enrolls for the HelpMeSee MSICS simulation-based training course will get access to the eBook as pre-study material. The eBook can also be shared with anyone interested in reading the HelpMeSee MSICS eBook with necessary approvals.
